It is a binding contract and shall not be breached. A "Committed Volunteer" is one who has committed to volunteering for WAMCARE for at least six months. By signing this contract, a volunteer is affirming this commitment.<br /><br />As a committed volunteer you have the right:<br /><br />1. To have your value as a team member consistently recognized by the entire organization.<br /><br />2. To participate in volunteer activities that engage your interests, talents and capabilities.<br /><br />3. To have a comfortable arena to express your ideas, opinions, feelings and needs.<br /><br />4. To be respected and supported in every way possible by your organization, BOD, and fellow volunteers.<br /><br />5. To receive public recognition for your contributions, and the gratitude of all persons within WAMCARE.<br /><br />6. To cease your volunteer activities at any time.<br /><br />7. To make your physical and mental health your first priority, and to have your needs heard and accommodated by the organization.<br /><br />8. To vote on issues presented to the membership of WAMCARE.<br /><br /><br />As a voting volunteer member you have the responsibility:<br /><br />1. To remember our People First Policy: the physical and mental health of our members and volunteers takes priority over any organizational concern. You are encouraged to monitor your health, be diligent in your self-care and to express your needs freely.<br /><br />2. To abide by the mandates of WAMCARE.<br /><br />3. To represent WAMCARE with integrity and dignity in all of your activities for the organization.<br /><br />4. To be honest and sincere in your work and communications.<br /><br />5. To abide by the Golden Rule: treat fellow volunteers, members, and the public as you would have them treat you, with respect, attention and support.<br /><br />6. To see yourself as an integral and needed member of a Team.<br /><br />7. To provide your volunteer co-workers with accurate information regarding the status and needs of your project(s).<br /><br />8.
